Day 2 at the beach (Redang)

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. All play and no work makes you don't want holidays to end at all.

I'm down with countable days of holidays using one hand. Damn damn damn, I felt as though I have not played enough. *ain't it always*

Sometimes the thought of going back to uni, just makes you feel nauseous.
And trust me, I am not the only one. Rachel felt it days ago, and vomited endless amount of fluid. Poor girl.
Day 2 at Redang was of course, fun. D-U-H. We woke up in the morning to enjoy our breakfast (nasi lemak and toast), and savour Rachel's old town white milk tea. Then it was snorkelling again. We had like 3 snorkelling trips altogether. A little boring actually, but then again it comes with the package, and it's an opportunity to go out to the big blue sea and JUMP into it where no decent land is nearby.

This time, snorkelling was at the marine park. There was a crowd. A lot of people. Gosh. But we still headed for the water and waddle waddle. Lol. This time I was luckier. I saw a JELLY FISH. and screamed. Saw a black fin SHARK. and screamed again, not to mention swimming freestyle full speed ahead in the opposite direction draining all my energy that very instant. Saw sword fishes, Baracuda's, those rock coloured camouflage fishes and a lot of funny colourful fishes.

And when we were back to the beach, we lazed around and sat at hammocks, and explored the beach a little. One tourist attraction on the island, is to observe red tailed squirrels. And all of us stared at the tree dungu-fied while the squirrel SLEPT on the tree.
I coloured our face black to hide the dungu-fied expression. And then we took lotsa lotsa pictures. I really like this one. It has two rings to it. It can either be a very serene picture, whereby everyone is being tranquilized by the calmness of the sea, or it can be a very EMO picture, whereby all of us are trying to commit suicide by walking straight into the water.

Then came the attempts to jump over waves.
You first do a half squat with your hands stretched out far in front of you. Use those leg muscles to pounce yourself upwards into the air, Land back on two feet. And fall down into the water in case your landing skills suck. Redang also has this little make-do tea inn in which the movie "Summer Holidays" featuring Sammi Cheng and Richie Ren was shot. This random cookie monster picture with two random strangers was totally random. We were all standing in the little shop inside More More Tea Inn and I turned to talk to Christy. She was like standing there, with a couple behind here wearing almost similar shirt. So I was like "Christy turn around and see" and she turned. And we decided it would be cute to take a picture together. So snapped snapped. I really love this picture. Makes all of us look like we're casts for some big show featuring the little tea inn. And thats me and Christy and her little cookie monster inside the heart shape. (and you may wonder where the hell Ven was at that moment *he was sleeping on a hammock totally ignorant about what was going on*)

In the noon we went snorkelling AGAIN. This time we brought bread out to feed fishies. And it was so FUN!!! I kept screaming and screaming everytime the fished bit my fingers when I held bread, or when they swim pass my body. We kept trying to touch the fishies, but they were fast swimmers.

And then, back on shore again, a very kind hearted worker at Redang Bay showed us a black spotted eel when he took us snorkelling by the rocks. The eel is huge. Like BIG BIG HUGE!! (It's my first time seeing an eel so the size is entirely up to my interpretion). It was quite challenging swimming against current and waves.
Back at shore

Finally, a proper picture within the heart shape with the correct company

At night

Reach out for the trees

Lastly, the last part of the day was spent sitting around Wilkinson's make-do-campfire-oil-lamp fooling around. What happened around the oil-lamp is another tale on its own.
Till then. Tata!!
