<3 max. Best decision ever. Lucky I bought 2 summore.
Oki. Was posted to cathedral village the other day. And guess what, the place is like a hotel for old people.
I've been to old folks home in Malaysia. All look super cacat, feels like it was made for cacat people to live in, and I always pity the folks staying in there. The beds are made of creaking metal, and it looks like it can break anytime, and the food they serve there is all mashed up stuff.
Okay, I've been to a nice one in Penang before "little sister" something in the name. Quite nice, but still no where as nice as Cathedral village. The name also sound so nice lor. CATHEDRAL. Class-nya.
It was a super long bus ride there. I remember falling asleep 3 times and waking up with palpitations cos I keep thinking I miss my stop, and then I will fumble with my blackberry bobeep to pull out my google map just to check how far off I missed my stop only to find that I am only half way there.
3 times, and I am not exaggerating. Only when I reached there, I realise that it is the last stop of bus 9. Could've just slept my way through without the unecessary scare.
This is what I do when I am bored. Ber-Cammy. And I swear noone in America cam-cam's randomly out of the blue so I had to steal-steal take.
The entrance of the place look like a mini winter-sonata. Two rows of nice red almost balding trees greeting you. Haha. Okay la no where near winter-sonata la but got the concept la.
I didn't take pictures inside cos I scared of HIPPA then got people's face ter-captured then I will get sued and lose money before I even start making some. But I tell you, the rooms are like hotel rooms. Except with nice floral arm chairs, and four poster single beds, and tons of family picture nicely framed.
There is a beautiful church just next door, a gym with a swimming pool downstairs, a cafeteria with the most delicious food ever (will talk about food later), a painting room, a piano room. SYIOK MAX. When I grow old I also wanna stay in hotel like this. (someone better start building one in Msia!)
There are apartments in the compound as well, and Dr Smith (my attending for the day) told me that old folks that are more independent can choose to live in the apartments so that they don't feel cooped up in a jail. At the back of my mind I am already thinking how can a hotel be like a jail. Folks that are more mobile can even take buses to wherever they want to go to.
I feel like I am ward rounding in a hotel.
Then I asked a damn stupid question. I asked whether other old folk places are as nice as this. He said this is one of the oldest place for old folks and that they are a lot newer nicer ones. *faints* *wake up* *faint again*.
Was trying to get the sign behind. Got half of it instead. Good enough la.
Someone build a hotel-like old folk in Msia already can. If not I will retire in the US nguahahahhaa......
Oki. Blog habis. One more silly pic to show you all.
