Shocked!!

my mom gave me shock, big one big big one..

today was the release of my exams results, the one in the 1st semester. yeapz. so freaky yea.

so after receiving my slip (which was in a sealed enveloped) i happily tucked it into my bag unopened, for 3 reasons :
1) i duwan to spoil my mood for the day
2) its friday the 13th, bad luck day noe
3) i want my mom to open it, she's got lucky hands

sounds silly yea, but well, i was being paranoid. so me n my frens happily went to watch harry potter and vow to forget about our results.

when i reached home, i popped my bag down, told my mom NOT to touched my results till midnight 12, den went to bath and shut myself in my room.

Suddenly,
Mom : LIM PEI-WEN you better come down here NOW!!
Dad : I told you you should've studied harder, whole day playing and watching ur series!!
Mom : No more going out for the next whole month
Dad : I want to see SOLID results for the next test!!
Mom : LIM PEI-WEN!! DOWN!! NOW!!

whoaaaa, heart thumping fast, and furious with them for opening my slip wo my permission, i rushed down, w fury, nervous-ness, and tad bit of disappointment (cos i've studied hard for this test noe.)

Mom : you go see for yourself!! and tell me what have you got to say!!

i feel like shouting "YOU HAVE INVADED MY PRIVACY!! SHOULD HAVE ASK MY PERMISSION 1ST!!" but i din la, disrespect, summore w my mom so angry u realise i wont stand a chance of winning a family argument.

so i guai guai walk to my dad's table and reached out for my results slip.
took one peeked at it, scanned thru the paper for the slightest indication of my performance in this test.

A HUGE WAVE OF RELIEF SWEPT PASS ME!!

den i looked at my mom with the how-can-you-bear-to-do-this-to-me look, and she cheekily smiled back at me!!

such nice family!! (actually my sis kinda gave it away by trying not to snigger, but i din really realised dat at 1st cos i was busy worrying)

den my dad had to spoil it all

Dad : you still know that that is not your full potential and u r capable of much better results right?
Me : watever!!
