Online shopping

A lot of people has been asking me about how to shop online. Like how do you make payments, how to you arrange to receive goods, how do you decide whether the size is right for you, how this how that. Well, here's my 2 cents worth of opinions.

First of all, here's an exhausting list of all the blog shops available in Malaysia.

Whoaaa!!!! there's an amazingly LONG list!!! Help!!

So where do we start,

Now what I usually do is go to blogs of very kind writers who review clothes according to their taste and make my pick from what I see there.

These blog writers are really kind. They not only sieve through blog by blog to spot nice clothing, they even inform you whenever they update, or sales!!

Here are the 3 blog reviews that I know about.

Come on give the icons above a little clickety clicks!! and get started!!

Now come the FAQ's.

Q : How would I know the clothes/shoes/bags actually fit, or are my desired size?
A : Most of the time, the blogs will state the size of the clothes/shoes/bags. Normally they go by UK sizes 6-12. (Sizes of clothes are usually the same as those in Topshop, Forever 21) And shoe sizes usually uses Vincci shoes as reference. If you're still not confident about the sizes, give the owners a mail and they will be more than willing to measure the clothes for you.

Q : What if the goods arrive and I don't like them?
A : Most owners are kind enough to arrange a exchange for a better size, colour etc. However bear in mind that its the risk you will have to take, for online clothes are A LOT cheaper.

Q : What is COD and how does it works?
A : COD simply means "cash on delivery" which mean you pay only when you get your goods. This means you need to arrange a meet up with the blog owners at a place convenient for both of you to exchange goods/money.

Q : What is pre-order?
A : Pre-order means the blog owner will only stock the desired item after she recieves confirmation in the form of payment from you. Meaning you need to pay for the items first. Usually pre-ordered clothes comes from Taiwan or HongKong or Korea. And they take about 2 weeks to arrive. Check this web site for an example of a pre-ordered clothes. *clicks clicks*

Q : How do I make payment, and how do my items get shipped over?
A : Most of the time, payment can be made through paypal (credit card payment). Some blogs don't have such services, but they will give you their bank account number and you bank and you just need to visit your bank to bank in the desired amount of cash into their accounts. (This doesn't apple to COD of course). And then you give them your house address, and they will mail you the clothes!!

Once in a while, all the blog shop owners will meet at Bazaars and you will get to actually feel, try and purchase clothes on the spot!!

Okay I think that probably all the doubts clear. If there's anymore about it let me know!!
