I am always thankful all the time. Hehe. Everyday is thanksgiving to me. But I guess there should be one day where everyone should be super duper thankful right? Happy thanksgiving folks.
Morning of the fourth Thursday of Novemeber, I walked out to the streets, and I was welcomed by the most amazing scene. White fluffy little flakes where appearing on my coat (I summore tot it was my dandruff or something scare me). At first it wasn't very visible to the eye. But later on, there was this cold gush of wind, in which I didn't freeze thanks to my proper attire of the day (prepared betul leh), and there was little white flecks accompanying the breeze.
It was SNOWING. My first instinct was to call my mom and dad. But then I realise I didn't bring my call card out. So I posted it on FB instead and hoped they will read my shoutout. And then, I started calling all my lazy pig friends who were still in bed to ask them to peek outside their window. Hehe.
First snow of the season!!
There was a big parade going on, which explains why I was out in the cold not-freezing (haha cos I was nicely bundled up.
Big bear bear!!
Dancing presents. The reason why they are blurry its because they keep moving.
Big mister frosty. Obesity. Need to lose weight!!
Santa Miao Miaos.
Although the floats weren't as big and grand as those I witness before in Ching Gay parades, or buddhist floa processions in Singapore and Malaysia, it is a much pleasant experience here!
Difference in watching a parade here and watching a parade back home.
1) No body odour! - its so cold noone is sweating
2) Plenty of personal space - people here are particular about personal space, no jam pack squeeze to the front kinda kiasu attitude.
3) Good sportsman ship - Everyone cheered for mister frosty, everyone was dancing along with the dancing presents.
4) People are courteous - Adults were letting old people and children stand in front.
Me under my umbrella, cos I am a thousand gold princess, don't really want the snow to melt on my coat and make it damp.
My favourite float was the last one.
SANTA AND HIS REINDEERS!! - so was everyone's favourite cos the cheers were the loudest!
Btw, I tried taking a video of snow, since it is not turning up in pictures. Here is it!!
See why I say frosty is obesed!!! It nearly got stuck amongst the lamp post!! Too fat -> no good!!
But look at the nice whitish flakes!!! Mommy Mommy Daddy Daddy SNOW!!!! (okay I am overly jakun now)
Too bad the snow turn into rain and made my boots all wet. Thank god I had the ah-ma instinct to carry an umbrella out.
After the lovely parade, I decided to take a little stroll around the city, because the snow made it so beautiful, I didn't want to go indoors. So I stayed out to berjalan-jalan. And took beautiful pictures!!!
CLICK ON THE PICS TO SEE ITS AWESOMENESS!!
There was a little christmas village outside of city hall. And I bought I cute red hat from one of the stores. Love max. Will cam-cam with the hat some day.
Will post thanksgiving dinner in another post. Enjoy!
