Resolutions anyone?

It's almost the time of the year to START making new resolutions.

*dread*

I hate this part of the year, because it just means looking back at your PAST resolution, realising that you did not fulfill MOST of it at all and then, re-writing them down again.

And also making a few more which you know for god sake that you wont keep to it, or being in such pain to change for a resolution.

Let me bring you through what happened during last year's resolution making.

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping.

"hmm looks good. oh shit, I survive on shopping how can I cut that down"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping.

"cannot la, I shop too much till I went broke must curb that"

writes back RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping.

"this sentenct too harsh, need to rephrase it a bit"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping when necessary.

"When necessary? too vague, shopping is always a necessity"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping, when except absolute necessity.
- this was left for 3 days

"new year, need to buy new clothes for uni if not ppl say I no fashion sense, but got resolution?? how?? this is necessity right???"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping except absolute necessity

RESOLUTION 1 : Buy less

"Lidet I can buy and shop, as long as I buy less right???"

Eventually I went to Singapore and overspent the budget. Kept thinking, if I buy an Ipod, only ONE ITEM its buy less right???

So finally I place this as my resolution when I realise its not working

RESOLUTION 1 : Spent less.

"still not working"
