Skinny Pinky

Its a week long posting at the GP. I expected this to be boring and urrghh, hey, turns out it was more interesting than hospital posting. Manage to see, palpate, auscultate all sorts of funny diseases. A lot a lot of interesting cases!!! And hands on learning as well. Our doctor is so friendly and so willing to teach.

I am actually here to introduce the new member to my family. Pei-Wen's family rather, not my family kinda family. Lol

I was in search for a new camera for a very long time, and needless to say, the PC fair last week happen to catalyze my purchase!!! Happy happy happy happy happy.

I was actually comtemplating on 3 particular models. Let me show you the runway.

Canon IXUS 870 IS

I always thought Canon camera's were better than the other brands since Canon is one of the few established company to first branch into cameras. So I enquire enquire enquire and many shops says that Canon has better lightning captured because the lenses actually pop out. So I placed this little beauty in my KIV list.

One problem though, this model comes in boring colours. No red/pink shades that I was hoping to look for.

Sony DSC-T500

Now now. Thise lovely lovely camera comes in the perfect shade of red that I just want. Its 100% touch screen unlike the Canon baby, and it has this cool sliding cover at the front.

Fall back?? The price is 300 bucks more expensive. And its main function is for video capturing. Hence photo quality will be compromised.

Last but not least,

Sony DSC-T77

This model also known as Skinny-T and it is such a beauty!!! Its slim, very light and portable, not to mention its design is uber uber nice. Looks wise, I fell in love with this model once I saw it in the newspaper. But everyone knows that anything pretty and small usually has compromised functions.

So after enquiring, I realise that the video quality for this model is less sharp than the other Sony model, and the picture quality is less sharp than the Canon model if you're planning to enlarge. But if its just for normal use, and not some pro photography competition use, it'll do.

Well. Make a guess on which baby I brought home after the PC fair?????

Tada!!!!

Skinny Pinky Teeeeeeeee!!!!!!

Now I am using a semi-pro, which I think its more worth it in terms of picture quality and price. But, if you're looking for something simple and easy, sony t-77 is an okay model.
