It's about time..

... I started writing about Chinese "Niu" Year like everyone else. Have been going around facebook and blogs to wish OTHER people, yet my poor blog is deprive of it's CNY-ness. Tho CNY to me is boring.

*side track ranting*- careful when you file your nails. I was filing my nails and flooooop, the nail file slided across my poor finger. Now it's oozing red blood! =( and I'm running out of nails ideas. anyone?

*back on track*
Just like exams, CNY has a pre-period, and a post-period. Actually I can't really foresee how post-period is going to be besides being cooped up in the library.

Pre-Chinese New Year actually just mean decorating the house. And buying goodies.

My house revamped this year. New shade of paint, brown and white. My choice!!
New gate, wooden planks this time instead of prison like black iron
New colour for the study room, Sister picked purple.
New study chair. Comfy ikea Moses.
New CNY latterns, which made my house RED RED RED with its light.
New bedsheets, which are blue. (Sigh I wanted pink)

Lol. And CNY shopping cost us a bomb.

And that's not even half of the goods we're supposed to buy.

So this year, instead of going to Penang, we had our CNY in Johor Bahru.

This is a box of dried BBQ meat. "Ba Gua" A WHOLE BOX.

Actually to be honest, CNY is very very boring. There's really nothing much to do except watch TV and watch some more TV. Every possible entertaining area is close. Cinema's are packed. So we just watched more TV and play with my cousin-in-law's Ipod touch.

And my cousin saved the day with her camera. Now we can NEVER get bored with camera's around. *giggles*

My cousin's are so pretty right?!?!?

These are stolen off her facebook.

And on the first day of CNY itself, we visited the chickens in Kampar. My mom's side grandmother's house. Lol. "Kepok Kepok" Reminds me of the "Ji" ven. LOL. *hint*chocobo*
And on the 2nd day of CNY we were flying up and down to KL to send my daddy's boss off. And we ended up inGENTING HIGHLANDS!!!!!!!

And by the 4th day of CNY, I was cooped up at home doing my ECA form.

This is at 12pm noon.

9 hours later. at 9pm. Still working on it. So hardworking right?

Told ya my CNY is boring.

GONG XI GONG XI!!!
