Chinese New Year is all about giving. Adults giving ang pao's to kids. Elders giving their blessings.Well, and also giving away to charity. So here we are at charity homes.
Dad is a strong believer in religion and karma. The more you give, the more you get. Also, the more good deeds you do, the more luck you'll have. Or something like that, which is why he always help charitable organizations whenever he can.

And more temple visits. Only difference with this one, is that it's in Banting, not Penang, and it's very beautiful. Almost as beautiful as Kek Lok Si.
If you have not visited the Dong Zen Temple in Sungai Jenjarom, Banting, this Chinese New Year will be a good time to enjoy its ambience and attractions. This place is always very nicely decorated with big red tanglungs all over the place.
Tang lungs everywhere!!

Amazingly beautiful main hall.
This place even has one of the many rare buddha's relic found in a sacred hall. A must see for all buddists.

PINK PINK PINK PINK PINK dragon!!!

One of the few amazingly pretty decor.
On a very unrelated note, this post marks the beginning of a new uni semester for me. Classes officially starts tomorrow. Kiss a big good bye to my 2 plus month long holiday. Hopefully tomorrow is the start of a good term in uni. No conflicts, no stress, no pressure, (not too much lah) and no whatever makes people sad.
