The princess's 21st
Everyone has to turn 21 somehow. No matter how young they look.
Dear little Chloe, who has been my best friend in uni, and probably the only one I can click with throughout since Sem 1 aka the princess turned 21.
Now this little brat has been wanting to go to Sunway Lagoon since Sem 1. But noone bothered. So she took matters in her hands, and her wish came!!!
To illustrate in detail what happened is simply, impossible, because so much fun was involved that people would get bored at our craziness.
Hence, lets capture it by moments.
Funny moment 1 :
Everyone was trying to capture a nice picture with the horse, and suddenly "whaaablammmm" a huge thunderstorm thundered behind us. Poor yeen fell down trying to get onto the horse (horses don't like you)
Yeen on the floor
And when we do take a nice picture, Tjun Hoe goes under enemy'es scrotum (to quote transformers).
And Jeen is disgusted!
Funny moment 2 :
We are bandits (we're diamonds actually but trying to act like bandits)

And then SiewKim goes I WANNA TAKE PIC TOO!!!!
So after snap snap-ing, I reviewed the pic, and told QianHui, "SiewKim looks like Yeen's dick head"
LOL. (she replied saying she's a cute one!!!! )
Funny Moment 3 :
This is when the camera is in Tjun Hoe's hands.
Jump take 1 - Fail
Jump take 2 - Fail.

Then I took over. SUCCESS!!!!!!
Funny Moment 4 :
The donkey Tjun Hoe goes around kicking water, splash splash splash.
Being a great deal of nuisance.
And when we chase him back, he suddenly . . . . . . .

Squats behind a random stranger. LOL.
Funny Moment 5 :
Ashley the Kinky one being a squirtle. SQUIRT WATER FROM THE MOUTH!!!!

Camera lense kena. Squirtle success.
They were also executing the shoulder sit cheer move. Hence,
Thigh stands people, time for cheer prac!! (we shoud book sunway lagoon for cheer pracs - water current trains base leg balance while flyer gets water cushion should she fall)

Another one. With the REAL flyer.
Funny Moment 6 :
A damsel in distress.
Tjun Hoe : "Mommy I lost my glasses Howwwwwww???"
And then Jeen came to the rescue by finding his glasses!!!!
*plays bollywood song*

The 2 lovers reunite. A hero and the victim!!
Funny Moment 7 :
We're all waiting for the big jug of water to pour.
Waiting waiting.....
Still waiting waiting ...

WHAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Hint : Look at Ashley's face (far left)
Funny Moment 8 :
A picture paints a thousand words

Funny moment 9 :
Body roll body roll body roll!!
Jeen : "I DUWAN I WANNA GO HOMMMMEEE!!!"

Thats all adios!!! =)
Can't wait to rot my ass in Lang Tengah!!

Best of Tmn Negara
We've now come to the fun-est part of Taman Negara ----- Lata Berkoh.
Sneaky tourist agents usually don't include this in their packages, making lots of tourist miss out on this AWESOME attraction. Thank god Daddykins did his research on the internet, and insist we go for this little escape.
Whats so awesome about Lata Berkoh? . E . V . E . R . Y . T . H . I . N . G .
The boat ride there, the location, the water splashing splashing by the river.
You see this??
This alone summarizes the fabulosity of the little boat ride into the forest.
Are you drooling already???
We passed by a Kelah Sanctuary on the way and stopped to feed the fishes. Little fishies came bloop bloop-ing on the surface on the water to feed on little feeds we bought from the sanctuary people.

Bloop!

At Lata Berkoh, we were greeted with the sounds of flowing water. Initially, I was kind of disappointed at the place. I expected to be seeing a huge waterfall (judging by the amount of splashing I heard) but I was only greeted by a little rapid on the stream.
But the fun part lies in the actual splashing itself. The jetstream rush from the rapids is very much like sitting in a massage chair. So comfortable.
See our super excited super happy facial expressions!!!

The experience? Is priceless!!

On our way back we saw little butterflies having a conference meeting. Schoooo Pweeetyyy!!!

There you go. Thats my Taman Negara trip for ya!!!!

Tmn Neraga Part 2
It's all about the forest. FOREST FOREST FOREST. (Hence the inspired Spring Fairy Theme!)
There's of course more than just caves in Taman Negara. Everything is about the forest.
In the morning we had free buffet breakfast, thanks god for that, ate my way through a hearty breakfast (else I would be starving later on like the rest).
Then, we took a little boat ride (it's all boats you see, no cars no bikes, just boats boats boats) to the canopy walk.
Blame it on the school holidays which JUST commence that weekend. The canopy walk was crowded with school kids. Oh dear. Our smart little guide got us registered, and we were told to wait for about 2 hours!!!! After much grunting and whining, smart guide said :"why not we trek up to Bukit Teresek first" (which was supposed to be the plan AFTER the canopy walk)
So there we were, happily trekking up Bukit Teresek.

Met honey bee's home. See see see, so unique. The entire pipe-like thing is made out of honey, and over a period of time, they harden and becomes a solid shell for the bees to live in.
Honestly speaking I had no idea what's so special about Bukit Teresek. Till we reached the top. Smart Guide : "From here, you can see the peak of Gunung Tahan!! Tada!!"
My sister, Mom and I faces turned -.-''
I can very well see Gunung Tahan's peak on postcards, google, magazines. Besides, it doesn't resemble a hill peak (unlike those who trek to see Mount Fuju - Now that's something). Just green trees covering a hill like how you can see it EVERYWHERE!!!

Just because I don't really fancy trekking, thats why I couldn't appreciate the hoo-haa about seeing Gunung Tahan's peak. But if a avid trekker does make it up here, it's the journey that is fun, not the outcome. Hence seeing Gunung Tahan's peak is just some sort of an excuse.
People may ask :"you trekked Teresek Hill for what? Got what to see?" And you can go GUNUNG TAHAN's PEAK!!!

Here's a MACHO pic of me trekking.

But if you just look right at the back (red arrows pointing), those are 2 middle eastern girls who are MEDICAL STUDENTS TOO!!!!
What I don't understand is how they can trek a jungle in such nice clothes. Beautifully coloured dress and 2 layers of tudung. 1 pink 1 red, can match marrr. Not hot wan meh??? Even some of the malay tourist there are practical enough to wear long tracks and long sleeve shirt. But these girls literally has their best clothes on (with sequins some more) shiny shiny jinggly jinggly. Even on the mud day.
Then their pants and pretty shoes got all muddy. Poor thing!
When we reached back to the canopy walk, it was still another half and hour or more wait. A group of Australian womens were sitting just behind me at the waiting area bitching about their husbands and the trip.
Aussie Women 1 : My husband told me we were going somewhere lovely, and I ended up here.
Aussie Women 2 : My husband told me he brought food, now I'm hungry and thirsty.
Husband of Aussie Women 1 : Stop complaining already, here's a some lemonade (sprite actually)
Aussie Women 1 : Thanks you HONEY BUNNY!!!! (that's the stolen nickname for ZhiVen now)
On the canoppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Actually, it was kinda scary. Cos its SUPER DUPER HIGH. But its also SUPER DUPER LONG, so by the end of it, you're kinda immune to the highness, and it becomes "no feeling" Lol.
It's kinda cool up there. At the tip of the forest.

My face turned spastic the moment my dad took a candid shot. It's really scary at first.

Okay, don't stare. Best part of Taman Negara yet to come. =)
