New Year Resolution.

As a part of a tradition, although I am in Korea right now, and there is no way I could have typed this on the night of 31st December, but tradition is still tradition, and to uphold tradition is always a must, but before that let me wish everyone a BIG WOOFING

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

Yay, runs around and pelts snow at your face. (oops Malaysia no snow nguahahahahhaahhahahaha KOREAN A LOT OF SNOW!!!!! neh neh ni puu puu.)

This is my resolution last year made for this year. For last year I mean. Since its already 2009. Means made last last year. Am I confusing ya? Made in 2007 for 2008. *scratch head* I confuse myself sometimes.

1) Spent less (How come this appears in every year’s resolution
2) Pass all major exams without having to re-sit
3)
Exercise more often and not only during IMU cup
4)
Finish my cross-stitch thingi
5)
Learn how to sing and play the piano concurrently
6)
Do not loose my wallet AT ALL (dun laugh friends)
7)
Drive safely without any accidents
8)
Pamper Mr. Prince Charming. (guitar la, no bf OKAYY)

Actually, looking back on last year's resolution, I sadly can only say, I've fulfilled erm erm erm, number 2, 4, 6.

And I fail severly in number 1, 5, 7, 8.
Arrghhhhh... I am even thinking of selling Mr. Prince Charming, sighh, because I have no time at all. And also cos the other Mr. Prince Charming might get jealous.

And those half half fulfilled resolutions are like 3. Because I do once in a DAMN LONG WHILE exercise. Hehe hehe hehe.

Anyways. New resolution coming. Scrapped of those few impossible ones, add in more reasonable ones.

1) Spent less (again again and AGAIN!!!)

2) Pass exams with FLYING COLOURS (no more being contented with just passes)

3) Drive safely. Err errr, with no accidents???

4) Try not to lose more than 3 things in the span of the whole year.

5) Maintain body weight, height, waist circumference, face complexion.

6) Go on a detox diet for 5 days at least once. (because I keep procrastinating)

7) Learn to cook.

Lastly, to everyone breathing the new fresh air in the year of 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

4 in 1

I'm gonna kill four birds with one stone!!

First bird is all ab
out, my poor poor poor little housey housey. It's right now invaded with visitor's of all sorts, Mr Painter, Mr Aircon repairman, Mr Flooring man, Mr Gate man, Mr Bathroom Sliding Door man. And it stinks of paint.

Daddy's repainting the outside of the house. And maybe the inside, if there is time before CNY.

Messy messy house!!

Second bird is about Lilian's new love. Her little baby.
FREELY!!! omigoshsocuteiwannapinchherdoggiepuppycheeks
Freely auditioning for Bolt!! =)

That me Viva viva Viva!!

Bird number three happens to be Korean. Korean birdies. Lol. Actually more like MeIsGoingToKoreaOnChristmas.

Seriously!! Departing on the 25th itself!! Weee!!
Don't worry don't worry, my blog will still have posts popping out when I am gone.

Gosh gosh gosh. I should learn Korean!!

"ottok'ke ch nae sye yo? chal chi nae yo"

Bird Number Four is more or less something predictable!!
Nails!!!!! Hehe.

Skinny Pinky

Its a week long posting at the GP. I expected this to be boring and urrghh, hey, turns out it was more interesting than hospital posting. Manage to see, palpate, auscultate all sorts of funny diseases. A lot a lot of interesting cases!!! And hands on learning as well. Our doctor is so friendly and so willing to teach.

I am actually here to introduce the new member to my family. Pei-Wen's family rather, not my family kinda family. Lol

I was in search for a new camera for a very long time, and needless to say, the PC fair last week happen to catalyze my purchase!!! Happy happy happy happy happy.

I was actually comtemplating on 3 particular models. Let me show you the runway.

Canon IXUS 870 IS

I always thought Canon camera's were better than the other brands since Canon is one of the few established company to first branch into cameras. So I enquire enquire enquire and many shops says that Canon has better lightning captured because the lenses actually pop out. So I placed this little beauty in my KIV list.

One problem though, this model comes in boring colours. No red/pink shades that I was hoping to look for.

Sony DSC-T500

Now now. Thise lovely lovely camera comes in the perfect shade of red that I just want. Its 100% touch screen unlike the Canon baby, and it has this cool sliding cover at the front.

Fall back?? The price is 300 bucks more expensive. And its main function is for video capturing. Hence photo quality will be compromised.

Last but not least,

Sony DSC-T77

This model also known as Skinny-T and it is such a beauty!!! Its slim, very light and portable, not to mention its design is uber uber nice. Looks wise, I fell in love with this model once I saw it in the newspaper. But everyone knows that anything pretty and small usually has compromised functions.

So after enquiring, I realise that the video quality for this model is less sharp than the other Sony model, and the picture quality is less sharp than the Canon model if you're planning to enlarge. But if its just for normal use, and not some pro photography competition use, it'll do.

Well. Make a guess on which baby I brought home after the PC fair?????

Tada!!!!

Skinny Pinky Teeeeeeeee!!!!!!
Tada!!!!

Ahh, one whole week of hospital.

KKB. For the umpteenth time its Kuala Kubu Baru. Not Kota Kinabalu, or Kuku Bird.

Last week, I was posted to KKB hospital. No its not a hospital for dicks. and no, its not in Sabah,

The whole hospital posting part and the staying at the hospital part is not much fun. Although I have to say some cases were pretty interesting and was quite an eye opener.

The plus points about this trip was that there was good food, and peaceful environment. Not to mention a pretty nice dam.

Pictures ahead. Lazy to menghurai-huraikan a lot.

Long zig-zaggy road to the dam

The dam it self. Huge wall to hold back all the water

So pwetty.

Pwetty dam

My daddy say there are bungalows buried under all the water

Happy jumpy us

The wanderers.

The river leading to the dam

Me and my river. Lol.

More rivers for ya all!!

River company

I realise the KKB secondary school head master is so full of himself. Look. Paint his big ugly face on the wall!! Lol.

That's all. =)

First time setting up Christmas tree

Hello people, I am finally back into the land where my room has more than one powerpoint plugs, where I get the luxury of HOT WATER in my showers, where I no longer need to sleep drowning in the smoke of burning mosquito coils, or walk around aimlessly in the hospital to avoid a certain RITA, or get pissed at some Indian Doctor trying to teach us types of jaundice when we're dealing with a pregnant lady.

I love you Darling Home Sweet Home.

And I miss my mommy. She's not home when I came back. Heck I walk into an EMPTY house with no human beings. Mommy's at Kampar with my grandmother, Daddy brought sister to do her prom hair.

And I did her make up. Giggle. This deserves another post. Blehk

**********************************************************************

You are going to scream at me when I say this.

You know when people play I have never game, where you have to say something you've done before, in the form of "I have never (something you've done before)" and if someone else have NEVER done it, the fella got to drink one shot of liqour???

Well, previously, just before this, I have NEVER NEVER NEVER.......

My god I think a lot of your jaws are going to drop in a WHAT HOW COULD YOU, YOU'RE DEPRIVED!!!

Ihaveneversetupachristmastreebefore.

There you go. I said it.

Eh, hold that jaw from dropping, I now have laaaarrrrhhhh.. *grins*

I ventured into this big house, and spotted a really sad looking tree. My oh my, we can't let that happen can we, especially when christmas is round the corner. No no. Absolutely against the ten laws of christmas (have yet to decide the other 9)

Sad looking bare tree

So "Accio Ornaments!!" and these golden red balls come zooming in from all directions.

Jakun-ness never see ornaments before

Don't worry little Christmas tree. In no time you'll be a fine looking tree more beautiful than any other tree in the entire universe. Let me sayang you first.

Huggiess!!! *sayang the poor tree*

Time to order my elf to start work. *Accio elf!!* and in comes the elf.

Elf : Yes, mi lord? .... Rightou ... Work work!!

Not long later, little christmas tree transformed, as though touched by cinderella's fairy god mother, into a beautiful, enchanting TREE!!!!!

Now for the final touch
See little tree. I have made you beautiful!!! I am your secret fairy god-mother. Lalalala.

Lilian's hotel party

At this rate of my friends having parties for their 21st birthdays, I am going broke soon. Thanks god the year is coming to an end. Oh gosh, there is still christmas (kiss my dream Chanel/Coach/LV bag I have been saving for good bye)

About one hundred gazillion years ago, was a celebration for Lilian's 21st birthday. And a sub-celebration for Elaine's birthday as well.

I spend the entire day watching Saw 1 and 2 at Lilian's place, with half of her chasing her 2 dogs, and another half panting and breaking mirrors. Lol.

Nontheless everyone had fun. It was all alcohol and crazy people. Oh and camera's. I'll just post pictures and more pictures. Kinda lazy to elaborate more.

I had to leave after the blow cake session. But according to Lilian thankfully I did, so I missed all the vomiting and frail body piling, and the clean up. Nasty!! But I am sure everyone had fun nontheless. =)

Blow cake session

Camwhore in toilet

The next day, Lilian's mom treated us to a nice buffet dinner at Prince Hotel. Thanks Lilian punya mommy!!!

I got lost half way to kl and ended travelling one hour to our destination

Nontheless, dinner was super yummy!!

Happy Hatchday Lilian!!

Resolutions anyone?

It's almost the time of the year to START making new resolutions.

*dread*

I hate this part of the year, because it just means looking back at your PAST resolution, realising that you did not fulfill MOST of it at all and then, re-writing them down again.

And also making a few more which you know for god sake that you wont keep to it, or being in such pain to change for a resolution.

Let me bring you through what happened during last year's resolution making.

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping.

"hmm looks good. oh shit, I survive on shopping how can I cut that down"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping.

"cannot la, I shop too much till I went broke must curb that"

writes back RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping.

"this sentenct too harsh, need to rephrase it a bit"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping when necessary.

"When necessary? too vague, shopping is always a necessity"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping, when except absolute necessity.
- this was left for 3 days

"new year, need to buy new clothes for uni if not ppl say I no fashion sense, but got resolution?? how?? this is necessity right???"

RESOLUTION 1 : Cut down on shopping except absolute necessity

RESOLUTION 1 : Buy less

"Lidet I can buy and shop, as long as I buy less right???"

Eventually I went to Singapore and overspent the budget. Kept thinking, if I buy an Ipod, only ONE ITEM its buy less right???

So finally I place this as my resolution when I realise its not working

RESOLUTION 1 : Spent less.

"still not working"

Bolt

The 3D movie "BOLT" is something I wanna watch one day. I mean its THREEE DEEE for starters ain't it???

Sadly the price for a 3D movie ticket is always really not worth the price.

"Urrgh, I think I just pee-ed in my ball"
"Miao??"

big hoo HAA

So the big CHANGE hoo haa, is this. TADA!!!!

I put in tremendous amount of effort making this layout work you see. Especially the blog header. Its so frustrating when the butterflies wont stay in place where they are supposed to be. Lengthy details on my frustration shall be spared from this post.

So anyway. TADA!!! *yes again*

Remember to let the page load fully. then you can see the stars blinking at the header (which I put so much effort into making them blink and made my comp hang like crazy due to the extensive GIF file size)

Must see them blink okay. the stars can blink wan.

=)

Moon stars??? Nah. Earth!!

As the saying goes. "Aim for the moon. Even if you fall, you'll end up with the stars."

Well, nobody actually postulated the possibility that one may succumb to gravity and end up being back on earth.

I guess sometimes aiming for the moon is just to ambitious when the rightful place one should be is on earth. It just takes ONE PAINFUL FALL to "Plonk" back to the hard ground earth to realise that being on the moon is out of one's league.

So now I am on earth, staring at the moon and the stars, jumping and flying but never reaching them, yet waving and wishing someday I would be up there. But it that possibility even too much for earth-belonging me to wish for???

FIR concert

F.I.R concert was AWESOME!!!!!

The place was fully packed. So many people made an effort to come all the way to Genting Highland just to catch their little concert.

Look!!
Well, at 630 the line in front of the entrance was already REALLY REALLY REALLY long. and the weather outside is frigging cold!! brrrrr.... Crazy fans. Thank god we bought the NON-free sitting tickets then no need go in and snatch with people!! haha.

So we happily went around and posed with christmas decorations before the concert start.

By 730, the Arena of Stars was starting to get really noisy. So being kiasu and all, we made our way in, and bought ourselves some sweet potatoes to munch on while waiting. Ahhh, cold weather and a warm sweet potato. Yum yum!!

We were sitted very near the stage. So near the stage we could see the Faye, Ian and Real's face so clearly.

See the red arrow, thats where we were.

Then suddenly the lights went off, and there were little blur purple light stick waving around in the whole arena. So pweetteeee

See, the ball ball thingi hangin above, they are one of the nine planets in the universe. Theme of this concert is called the Tenth planet. So nine ball like thingi's were hanging on the ceiling. The tenth planet was on stage, where F.I.R will be singing on.

So the 3 band members emerge from beneath the stage, all dressed in white with Faye in this pretty white glitterish head wear which I will kill to have it!!

And then one moment Real was playing some love melody on the piano and singing along. Gosh I wish I could do that. But every attempt of mine either end up me going out of tune, or the piano going out of rhythm.

And next thing before you knew it Faye was singing melodiously on "Yue Ya Wan" accompanied by elegant dancers surrounding her holding stick with feathers at the end.

And I love her gold dress.

Anyways. I'll just put some concert pics up for everyone's viewing pleasure. Gosh. Sometimes I wish I was NOT a medical student and can live the glam life of an artist. So nice right???

But be warn. the pictures are blurry and pixelated, well aren't all self shot concerts pics like that? Lol.

All these pictures are from MY CAMERA ok not stolen from some media reporter. Tsk tsk. See thats how near we were to the stage.

Well, let hope F.I.R can come back to Malaysia again soon. Cos I wanna go watch again!!
