As promised

It's 2.00am in the wee hour of the morning. And I'm here - Blogging. I should be sleeping, but due to unforeseen circumstances (where I dozed off half way doing questions) I am now incapable of getting transported to dreamland.

Actually, I was kinda contemplating whether I should blog about this or not. You know ler, later kena labeled thick skin, or vain. Or worse "wannabe". You never know wei. A lot of drama-ful people out there wei. Especially in my current University. (met some retarded idiots who pretended to be nice, and in the end they turn out to be idiots, and backstab you. drama-nya right?)
But since my life has been so boring (thanks USMLE, thanks wei) and there's really nothing interesting going on right now, and I can't sleep, so why not?? It at least keeps you entertained until the next boring post pops out. Tsk tsk.

As we all know, we had a second farewell for dear Li Xia sometime ago (August I think).

During that little party, Keong ask if Li Xia wants to be his model for his photography collection. And Li Xia though it would be a cool idea to do it.

And me? I wanted to meet her for one last time. So I got dragged along into it. Lolz. Not that I wanted to. (yea right!! got people wanna take picture of VAIN me *note -> bold* I will say no wan meh?). Besides, it's a good occasion to dress up and look pretty (girls dig those).

Evidence of me being camera-friendly and a camwhore queen. One mirror shot, and one-facing-window-cos-natural-light-is-ideal-for-camwhore shot. Told ya I'm pro!!! (Don't attempt to do that overseas, people will think you're from Korea/Japan/Wierd "advise from friend")

So here are some end products. There are loads more. A lot of cheeky tongue sticking out ones. But Keong didn't like them (photographer ego) so they weren't on facebook so I can't access them either.

I've to admit, it looks pretty good. Keong has this policy of "not showing ppl the raw copy" so we didn't get to see it on the spot (hence I got a lot of fugly pics with him cos I kept making cheeky faces). So it was kinda nice and refreshing to see the pictures like a month later. LOL.

Sigh! !
But lets not talk so much about the picture alright. Lets talk about the process.

It was girl fun.
First thing that happened when I reach Li Xia's house was "omigosh why you have the same dress as me". Turns out we BOTH bought and brought the SAME butterfly sleeve dress only in different colours. Her's blue, mine white. Lol. We already have identical Hush Puppy Top, A Soda Black Top, Cats Whiskers Tops, Sub mini skirt, butterfly ring etc. (lost count). Good friends with similar taste eh!!!

I taught her how to fix on fake lashes. Her 1st response was "hey fake lashes act like sun shades, they cover your eyes from the sun" dash dot dash -.-''. Honestly speaking, in my 2-3 or so years of eyelash experience, I have NEVER heard such a comment on eyelashes before.

We wanted to capture friendly shots. Like, friend friend besties BFF kind of laughing shot. At least I wanted la. But Keong, who was sick, wanted fierce edgy model look. (I cannot make it seriously)

This guys some more insult my limbs too short and body too short. (Well Liz is at least half a head taller)

Very short meh?? Quite long wat??

It was a fun day. I miss that girl so much. Haha.

Speaking of girly moments, I just recalled a funny incident in high school : We both spotted gorgeous heels in 1utama, and was debating with one another whether or not to make the purchase. Instead of discouraging one another, because out measly allowance cannot afford them, we instead said "you buy one, I buy one, then we can wear out together".

Moral of the story, NEVER put two shopaholics together.

So one fine day, we we both wore our new sky high heels to Bukit Bintang for more retail therapy. We walk and walk and walk and walk, and naturally, our little feets couldn't take it anymore.

Suddenly it RAINED. Guess was smart Liz did. She took off her shoes and walk barefoot on the tar road to dash into time square. Lol.
As for me, I survived the journey to times square, but succumb to the pain of my feet.

SO both of us were shopping barefooted inside times square. Lol. Those were the days.

Ooh, coincidentally a barefooted picture Lol.

Oh well. Hope UK treats you good. Will be flying over for a visit if I have a chance alright. Take care girl. Happy graduation!!!

A note to self

*slap slap* Wake up Pei-Wen. Noone ain't pitying you if you're not going to give in your 2 cents worth of effort.

Wake up Pei-Wen. It's not too late. You're 22, you're young. Plenty of better guys out there.
Wake up. You deserve better than this. You deserve to be treated like a princess, not someone's trash. Not something that gets placed as a last priority. (after friend family studies sports).
Wake up. (but I can't!!)

With love,

Your inner conscience.

How am I doing right now?

Seriously, do you really wanna know? I get bombared with this question twenty times a day by umpteen amount of different people. (Dad a makes 5 times).

Or else I get people asking "when is your sitting?" "when you're taking your exams?" "when is the big day?" and many variations of those sorts.

Let me give you a verbal binge on my mental status.

Alright, we'll start wit a physical one first. I'm constantly losing weight. It's as if my butt is not big enough to show that I'm proportionally off balance (boob-waist-butt-ratio), my waist shrank another 1 inch since the last time I measured it. Now my butt look UBER big and its not really sightly. Boobs shrinking, less fats less boob material. So now picture a stick pivoting on a big balloon. Yeapz.

Lets not even go to the face. Pimples popping out everywhere, untrimmed eyebrows (fringe is partially the cause) sagging skin and the sharpening of my skin (due to weight loss) urghh.. I can't remember when is the last time I ever had a break to let my skin cells have their mitosis and do their job.

Okay, here comes them mental status. I think the roller coaster ride is ten times worse then final destination's roller coaster + post roller coaster triller (if you get what I mean). One day it's bright, next day it's gloomy. There is a constant fear whenever I click on the "start exam" button, and a EVEN greater fear when I click on the "submit" button. Sometimes it take me hours just to peep at the last digit of my 2 digit percentile. And another hour to pluck out the courage to peep at the first digit.

Having a smart ass boyfriend sitting next to me gloating/grunting about about how badly he did (which btw is one of my best score already) doesn't help.

Why am I born wit such small brain and limited number of brain cells. Argghhhhh. If Chloe's theory of girls-are-scientifically-proven-to-be-less-brighter-than-guys-theory is true then I'm gonna lose this run cos I'm competing with 3 guys wei wtT. wtTwtTwtTwtTwtTwtTwtTwtTwtT. ( T is for toot by the way)

So how am I doing now? I don't know actually. All I can do is tell you whats going through my brain body and soul and you judge how am I doing right now.

Perhaps its a normal process eh? How I wish I can a simple mind like guys. Guys don't worry about anything. All they have in their mind is :

1. I am the best
2. Anything that conflicts with statement 1 is not homosapien

Lol.

More updates from me.

I HATE KANYE WEST. I mean who doesn't now anyway. I don't even know VMA award exist (sorry la, katak bawah tempurung) actually but thanks to him VMA awards now have WORLD WIDE publicity everywhere yo.

Imagine if its my first time winning something big and someone come bitchslap me in the face on stage. I think I'll just break down and cry. Okay not on stage, but go backstage and cry, maybe come out to show face a bit to the paparazzi (so that they can see you're so upset) and the WHOLE WORLD will stand by your side, and hate Kanye West. Not bad strategy ya.

Or else just revert to plan 2. Get his record contract company to ditch him out on the streets. May he end up like Lindsay Lohan -- JOBLESS.

I can't believe even the rich and famous world also got drama queens and kings. I thought only IMU is full of them.

Anyway. Thanks to Kanye West, I came to realise how freaky Lady GAGA was that night.

May all the birds come lay eggs in her face. LoL. It's a freaking bird nest wei. I can totally imagine the middle get crowded by little eggs of birdies inside. Haha

Okay. Another note : Dunno why I got so many things to talk about today, hehe.

MYSTIQUE IS ON HIATUS.

This one have to bold big big. Cos I realise I still have so many incoming orders despite the big HIATUS sign on the blog. And most of the referrals are coming from my own blog. (My readers are all shoppers like me!!)

Yeapz. MYSTIQUE IS ON HIATUS TILL NOVEMBER. So don't place orders till my exams are over yea!! Love you shoppers for giving me business. Oh and friends too.

SPRING FAIRY IS ON HIATUS TOO, BUT STILL GOT READY STOCK IN WHICH I'LL GIVE BIG BIG DISCOUNT IF YOU'RE INTERESTED.

Wanna clear stock so that when November come can start new collection. Hehe.

Okay, end it with funny jokes. Enjoy!

What is it with guys and their horniness wei....

Annual Dance Competition

Additional Rants : Anyone notice how the story line of Orphan and Murderer is the SAME?!?!?!

Dance had always been a part of me. Since secondary school days.

I remember vividly the very first dance I did in Form 1. It was a song by Point Break - Stand Tough. Wow can't believe those days also we copy dances from youtube eh?

Here's the video of their dance. Our dance no video since that time no digital camera yet. LOL

But my little dancing "career" only sparked when I entered University, because I happen to mix with people who love dancing.

On the 8th of Sept 09, was IMU's annual Dance Competition. And of course, it's a must watch event on my list. To think just last year we were crowned champions. Me ShuYee Karmen Chloe Seeki. Known as Estrella. *click*

There were a few groups performing. But I'm gonna show you two groups in which tied for the first place.

1st group : Masquerade.

I have to say, they were pretty good!! They were crowned champions in the end. Apart from lack of originality due to copying of Jabbawockeez (from season 1 of America's Best Dance Crew) trademark mask + gloves, plus the copying of duet dance from "So You Think You Can Dance" the story line, and the steps were pretty much impressive. After all, my dance crew also always copy video's anyways. Lol. Some parts were a little too drama I felt. And the slow songs kinda felt cheating cos they have less moves. But overall it has a nice flow.

2nd Group : Extreme

I've seen them practise in dance studio many times before. And I've to say their performance on the day itself was the BEST. It was neat, tight, and energetic. Their disadvantage was that they didn't have many seasoned dancers unlike "masquerade". But hey. They came in 1st runner-up, which was good as well (they tied for 1st place but lost in the solo battle). Best of all, is that their dance story was original. Of course sure got steps copy from videos, but their concept is original. Lol

There was also the committee dance and the Judges dance afterwards.

Committee Dance

Check out the break dancing wei. I so wanna learn break dancing now. Arghh. In love with those flips and turns and funky moves.

Judges Dance

All time favourite Girl and Guy dancer - ShaoWen and Jay. They are at least one level above all of us.

Enjoys those dancing videos.

Some pictures from that day.

With the BEST Female Dancer - Ester (from Extreme)

With the BEST Male Dancer - Kor Woi (from Extreme)

With the Judge ShaoWen
Because I feel so nostalgic. Here's our Last Year video. I think this year's competition was a greater challenge. Less participants but more quality no?

Adios. Enjoy the video FRONT VIEW!!! (cos the one on youtube is top view)

Today is 100909. Well actually its quite an eventful day. I met up with my Singapore friends who are currently studying in the UK but they actually are from KL. Confused yet??

Early morning I posted out like 6 envelopes of clothes to my customers, then COD-ed with another girl for my studded belt. (I got it for RM 10 only) such a bargain!!!!

Then then then, met those peeps for lunch. They didn't change at all. Behavior slang looks all still the same. Silly me rushed out of uni to meet them for lunch in Sri Petaling and forgot my camera. Haihz.

Nevermind we shall meet for dimsum again and I shall remember my camera then!!!

Wanted to lunch at Korean BBQ place. But apparently it doesn't entertain lunch business. So we ended up eating hotpot nearby. Yummy and cheap (but not a lot of variety during lunch).

And I had Chocolate and Peanut Tong Yuen.

That's all.

It's an effort to blog. Sorry no pictures. Haha. Next post k?

It's all about coincidences. And the itch

Despite having USMLE exams coming up, I'm frequently distracted. In fact, sometimes I resent having exams because EVERYTHING seems to be happening during this period.

I was blog surfing one day, and as usual, whenever I see an advert at the side of my blog, I'll go click click on it. Hello. Generate more revenue you know when you click (you shoudl click too).

And usually, since I already click, I'll just scan through the ad and if it interest me, I'll continue reading. That's how I end up winning Castrol's blogger prize. And how I get so many free stuff (eg, movie tix, sample fragrance) *click to read*

So happen, the web page I clicked one fine day, was about Modelle. The advert brought me to this page.

Modelle... means model in french! Okay so corny. Sure bluff people's feeling wanna attract young girls and then con their money into making model profiles.

The description in the page also got so many grammar errors.

So I ignored it. Let it go. And continue blog hopping.
.
.
.
.
.

Days later, I was on facebook again. And then I saw the usualy facebook notification that "13 friends have joined Modelle group as a fan". Or something like that. Curious, I clicked on it again. And whoaaalaaaaaa. The same page was staring back at me.

Well, it caught my interest a little. But then I squinted at the page further, and well, deadline's over. Haha. Concentrate on studying larrrrrrrr.

But I did bookmark it as a fan though. Itchy fingers ma.

.
.
.
.
.

I opened my FB inbox weeks later, and saw this mail staring at me. "Last Call for Modelle's application" or something like that.

Hand already super itchy. Very very itchy in fact. I did a little homework. Googled Modelle up, found their web page. Made it 100 % sure it wasn't a cheesy corny advert.

I submitted my profile.

The very next day, I've got a call for an interview. And wholaaaaaaa, I'm selected as Modelle's 50.

This is the picture I submitted with my profile.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . *to be continued*
