Crossstitch

"I Told The Witch Doctor I Was In Love With You!
I Told The Witch Doctor You Didn't Love Me Too!
And Then The Witch Doctor He Told Me What To Do!"

**Scoots across the room**

**Holds imaginary microphone**

"Ooh to the eeh the ooh the ahah to the ting to the tang the wallawalla bingbang"

**Do a salsa with teddy bear**

"YO DJ PUMP THIS PARTY!"

~~~Grins~~~
I am totally IN the chipmunk craze. I love ze chipmunkies!! Lub lub lub lub lub. THEY ARE JUST SO CUTEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
*gives two self-slaps*
Okay wake up Pei-Wen, serious blogging to do here. Stop influencing people into the chipmunkies craze.
Righto. 1st up, I have an announcement to make. I [inhale exhale] have [inhale exhale] finished [inhale exhale] me [inhale exhale] CROSSSTITCH!!!!
inhale exhale inhale exhale inhale exhale..
LIKE FINALLY!!! omg I am just so freaking proud of it man!! LIKE PROUD PROUD!!! Okay, for those of you starting to lift one eye brow thinking "eh? Since when you crossstitch?" Let me tell you the very tragic interesting story behind the piece of artwork.
It all started when I was a lil girl of not more than 16 years old. I wanted to buy something different for my mom (not the usual wallet cards cake roses ) as a birthday gift. So one fine day, I dragged my at that time very good buddy (LiXia I wonder if you remember this) to a shop names "flower girl" and bought all the crossstitch materials thinking its so darn easy to crossstitch and TADA, thats how I started it.
Right, a good whole 5 years ago kinda story. Later on, I realised how freaking TOUGH it was, and how TEDIOUS is could be. So, er, I kinda gave up on it.
Oh by the way did I mentioned I LOVE CHIPMUNKS NOW?!?!?!
And then, 2 years flew by without any mention of crossstitching. And one fine day after I have finished my A levels examinations ( year end of 2006 ) and I got so bored at home so I decided to pick it up again.
And so, since my uni was annoying enough to start before I could finish it, I put it aside and then picked it up again this hols.
AND ITS FINALLY COMPLETED, AFTER A WHOLE FREAKING 5 YRS!! and chipmunks are so cute!!
inhale exhale inhale exhale.
Now me gonna get me daddy to frame it up to hang hang in my roomie!!
The whole picture!
It has a lil pondok!!
And a garden fountain
I love!
~~Grins even more~~
This is so gonna be a happy post.
I dug out even more memories during spring cleaning today. I didn't even realise I was grinning away so sillily sillyli silli-ly silly-ly (gosh is there even such word?) until my mom said "stop acting spastic and come help me!!"
I found so many thingis that totally totally gave me flash backs on those good times.
Photos photos and photos. And more more more!!
Ahhh, the good old kampong games. I used to look forward to the period of time after year end exams and before school holidays start. The whole class will be playing these kampong games. Girls on the batu serembans and guys on bottle caps. Well me, I am pretty good at both!! I OWN A LOT OF PPL THEN!! But now ah, skill gone liao.
Will you believe me if I say this is a bilrthday card? Haha. A really good friend of mine in Singapore (Bevelin) wanted to gimme a unique birthday card. So she cut up the birthday card and ask me to puzzle them back!! Gosh took me like ages cos there isnt any numbers or clues. Only blue words with a white background.
SAILORMOON!!! I used to be Sailormoon crazy. JUST LIKE HOW CHIPMUNKS RAWK MY ASS NOW!!! oh Sorry, back to Sailormoon. My dad knew I loved Sailormoon like she's some God when I was young. So when he went to Japan, he bought me a Sailormoon alarm clock!! And I kept it for so long although it's already spoiled.
Tsk tsk. Installation/dancing days are good ain't they? Group of chicken try dancing to entertain people. We pulled it off real well though. Many were impressed. Its an opportunity to dress up and slap on tons of make up!!
(LeeYuing if you are reading this you better remember this!) My beloved HSL (head section leader) of Malaysian Red Cresent Society wanted to curse all of us to DEATH!! Yea!! DEATH DEATH!! We were required to memorise this song for some national day parade. And she copied the wrong lyrics to our school members, making all of us SING TO OUR DEATHS!! Lol!!
(to those malay illiterate, the actual lyrics meant "fight towards glory" but our copies wrote "fight towards death")
I can't believe I kept it till like now!! Oh man!!
My sailing gear!! (I had to kop all these secretly back)
"Ooh to the eeh the ooh the ahah to the ting to the tang the wallawalla bingbang"
CHIPMUNKS RAWKS!!!
Pao day and jacuzzi
My pao's are a SUCCESS!!!
*big smile*At least my efforts aren't wasted. I told my sis, if IMU ever kicks me out I am gonna open a pao shop selling pao's and desserts.
(but my sister potong stim says my pao's look ugly altho they taste okay)
Now at least I have a back up plan in case I don't become a Doctor.
Speaking of Doctor, (which reminds me of IMU), I am starting to worry about my studies already. I know many people are already camping in the library studying their asses away and here I am, my notes not even complete and arranged.
Will I be too late if I start studying only when uni starts again? (Why must the last few weeks of my holidays be haunted by such unpleasant thoughts)
**BIG FAT SIGH**
I need a nice long spa right now.
Oh wait, I already had something similar.
JACUZZIIII!!!!
Haha. I lub lub lub lub lub lub Jacuzzi! Private room some more wheii!! So Syiok!!
I ought to go back there one day. With the proper kaki (sorry guys, only girls allowed) tsk tsk
On a very unrelated note, I made an effort to clear my wardrobe this morning ( dues to lack of space following my recent spent thrift on a LOT OF clothes).
Gave mommy dear some of my clothes, gave sister dear some as well. (I could be a clothing santa). The whole problem with me is that I LOVE ALL MY CLOTHES and giving them a way is such a heartache.
However I made it super duper clear to them that I AM ALLOWED to borrow them back whenever I need them (thus making those clothes semi mine again. ngek ngek ngek)
Oh gosh, I needa go right now. Time for the most anticipated tea break. (Eating my pao's and sipping peach tea.) =)
Adios.
The big pause button
At some point of time in your life you desperately feel the need to press the BIG pause button. Just so you can savour the moment, or have sufficient time to finish whatever you need the time to finish.
God I feel like pressing the pause button all the time. Be it on holidays, before exams, or during an unbelievable birthday celebration.
Why don't someone invent a pause button right now. You've got 17 days to hand in your invention, because 17 days later my school holidays will officially be over.
BIG SIGH.
And to be the unluckiest of all (among with 8-10 other people) I have to get the WORSE meanest, nastiest, evil lecturer among so many others to be my PBL facilitator. I am so in the downs. I foresee myself camping in the library next semester.
Oh well, before all these unhappy things come into action, I really got to make full use of my almost depleting holidays.
Thank God Jessica is around. Chloe you dumped me for Brunei!!
Chinese New Year is slowly approaching. Red is seen everywhere (except my room that is).
Decorations in The Curve is as usual, very extravagant!!
Red pink red pink red pink.
Apart from the AngPao's, Food, and Oranges, the other thing I like about CNY is the colour. HELLO!! RED AND PINK LEHH!!!
Me super love pink. =) Even wore PINK for the day!! OMG.. Its time to steam my pao's (yeapz, I'm attempting to make red bean pao.)
Baking
If I were to tell you medic student CAN actually bake, what would you say?
"No way, they burn the cake!!"
Ahh, I assure you not, the group of us medic students who are not only brilliant, pretty, sexy, hot, smart, talented (okay enough self praise - mix around too much with Rachel) are actually not too bad in baking.
So here goes. 1st you mix in the butter egg watever wataver,
Then you sieve the flour and mix it in as well, along with a few more watever watever, oh and pose for the camera!!
Then you let the watever-machine-you-call-that do the mixing job for you to save delicate hands from being tired.
And you dump it into the oven for a while and WHOAAALAAAA..
Our cakey!!!!
Now now you might want to refrain youselves from turning the cake into this.
Because the cake is simply to yummilicious to resist. (what to do natural baking talent ma)
So start decorating it immediately.And the final product is this!!!
Beautiful leh!!!!!
I know I know, we're just too talented. Hehe!!
On an unrelated note. Watch Lilian's face turn red as she savour's MingTien's spicy taiwan sausage. Mind you, she only ordered the moderately spicy one okayy.
Ipod
Guess who became a new member on my list of properties?
Decisions, decisions. Who needs ’em? Why should you have to choose what to put on your iPod? With up to 160GB of storage, iPod classic lets you carry everything in your collection — up to 40,000 songs or up to 200 hours of video — everywhere you go. In a completely new, even thinner, all-metal design, this iPod is a modern classic.
Final night in the land down under
This is the final night in the land down under.
Singapore that is. Not too far down under okay (some ppl may think australia)
Its a Wednesday, Ladies Night in most clubs in Singapore. Best part of the night is, some clubs offer FREE DRINKS to ladies. Yea man, free flow of drinks.
Imagine, tequila after tequila after tequila. Cost-less.
So there we were, having tequila and cocktail shots that taste so yummy. *licks lips*
When everyone is sober
Lilian, Ian and Muah
Tequila and cocktail shots
Drinking drinking
Random shots
After we had enough of drinks, we headed to Ministry Of Sound (free entrance but no free drinks). Only unpopular clubs give free drinks. tsk tsk.
Things were getting a little hot then cos I felt my head swirl! (I wasn't drunk mind you)
Dance floor was empty when we arrived at 12am. But the crowd came only at like 1am. Then it was packed like crazy.
At the queue outside MOS
Still queuing
Lounge shot
Me, Chloe and Lilian (3 hotties) *winks*
Cam-whore shots
That pretty much sums up our Singapore trip!! Adios!!
Singapor day 4
There is still one final day of the trip down south that I have not blogged about.
Yeapz, I was in the composing process and I needa slowly edit and filter the pics so that non of my friends look fugly in them. *else I'll never hear the end of it*
Hence the delay.
But here it is anyways. Our Forth day in the miniature country down south.
Its shifting day for us. Yeapz, we shifted into a back packer's inn. The concept is interesting. Ohh, there's lots of hot ang moh guys if anyone is interested. *hold that drool please, most of them are with their wifes/gfs/lady partner*
A very good friend of Ian and Lilian joined us for the shift. And brought the 4 hungry pigs for a yummilicious steamboat buffet as well.
The water chestnut drink there tip top rock socks!!
Our tour guide for the day
Hmm, nothing much happened after the buffet lunch. Basically everyone went home to pig out. Till the night arrives of course.
Christmas tree outside PS
Lambo outside mandarin hotel
Dinner was at Wisma Atria. The food junction upstairs has drop dead yummilicious prawn noodles. Mind you, Singapore style. Not the spicy Malaysian style.
Then came the night. In which I will blog another time!! =)
sorry la, pictures not ready. =)
Ian came up with an interesting saying.
A boyfriend is like a :
Kuli (carry heavy stuff), Photographer, Driver, Atm Machine, Counselor, Personal Shopper, Punching Bag, Escort, Yada Yada Yada... You can add on the list yourselves.
Aint girls lucky?
